打ち水大作戦2026参加者からの感想 Hot Summer

毎朝涼しい時間帯に打ち水をしました。プランターで育てている野菜に水やりをするついでに、玄関前や窓の近くに打ち水をしました。

祖母が夏の間、毎日打ち水をしていたことを覚えています。最近は夏が特に暑いので、効果があるかどうかは定かではありません。でも、これは日本の文化の一つであり、使い終わった水を再利用する良い方法でもあります。

なので、これからも打ち水を続けていきます。

Every morning, I sprinkled water on the ground during the cooler hours. While watering the vegetables I’m growing in planters, I also sprinkled water in front of the entrance and near the windows.

My grandmother did UTIMIZU every day in summer season.
I remember about it.
Recently summer is extra hot so I’m not sure it works. But it’s one of a culture of Japan and also good way to reuse used water, too.

So I’ll keep doing UTIMIZU.
