うちわは夏の日本文化のシンボルの一つです。

昔から夏祭、花火大会、盆踊りなどの野外イベントにもうちわは存在感を発揮しています。

ゆかたを着て、うちわで風を起こすと何とも言えぬ風情を感じとることができます。

また、保冷剤のように冷凍庫で冷やしておく必要もなく、電動ハンディファンのように充電の心配もいらず、環境に優しい夏のアイテムです。

Uchiwa (a traditional paper hand fan) is one of Japan’s symbolic items that represents its culture during summers.

Uchiwa has shown its presence in different events, such as in Bon-Odori festivals and other summer festivals.

Similar to how people who wear Yukata (summer Kimono) to enjoy the sense of traditional culture, uchiwas are also used like that.

It’s an eco-friendly item that you don’t need to chill in the fridge or recharge using power to use.
