イベントレポート「英語と日本語でのMeetup」

ハワイ旅行での飲食店の注文を想定して英語を学ぶ、ということで目標がはっきりしていてやる気を持って取り組めました。

食べ物に関する表現は独特なものが多いですが、特にハワイでは現地の言葉も混ざっていてユニークで面白かったです。

世界中どこでも食べ物を通じて地元の文化を知るのは楽しいと思います。グローバル化でさまざまな国の料理が食べられるようになったからこそ、地域の食文化の意義を考え直したいですね。

I was able to motivate myself to learn English by aiming for a clear goal, so I could order at a restaurant during my trip to Hawaii.

There are many interesting food-related expressions ,  especially  in Hawaii’s local language.

I feel that learning about local food culture from around the world  is interesting. That is why we need to reconsider the significance of local food cultures if we want to continue eating food from around the world.
